• Mobile County has the highest teenage birth rate in Alabama among the state’s three largest metropolitan areas (Jefferson County, Mobile County, and Montgomery County); Mississippi has the highest teen birth rate for females ages 15-19.

• A sexually active teen that does not use contraception has a 90% chance of becoming pregnant within a year.
